Meet Malley
The Beanstalk Collective is the work of Alabama native and current Tennessee resident Malley Bailey Seale.
Malley began her artistic career at a young age thanks to the influence of her mother, who is a painter and creative herself. Art class was always Malley’s favorite part of the school day, and in high school she attended the Tennessee Governor’s School for Visual Arts. While in college she worked at Anthropologie and then was the Merchandising Manager for vineyard vines, where she honed her talents in visual display. During this time she also interned for Heidi Elnora, a Birmingham bridal gown designer, which is where she discovered her talent for calligraphy as well as love for all things celebratory paper. Following college she moved to Minneapolis for a sales job in the steel industry, and in her off-time she began creating stationery and invitations for friends and family.
Today, thru the Beanstalk Collective, Malley offers services in custom stationery for any event and small, illustrative business branding. She works full-time in the medical device industry, managing a Midsouth territory. In her free time, when she’s not in her studio (which is a loose term since it spans from the dining room table to the garage “she-shed” depending on the project) she enjoys spending time with her husband, Taylor, and their two long-haired dachshunds, Elton & Jerry.
To date her work has been featured on SouthernLiving.com.
